Dr. Vicksman
Sherwyn , “Sandy” Vicksman is a native Denverite. He earned a degree in Biology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) in 1982. Dr Vicksman has been in practice since then, specializing in contact lenses.
Dr. Vicksman has been a clinical investigator for Bausch & Lomb, Cooper Vision, Alcon and other companies. He has conducted numerous FDA studies for contact lenses, contact lens solutions and pharmaceuticals. He received an Outstanding Clinical Investigator Award from Bausch & Lomb for 1992-1993. He has been a presenter at the Academy of Ophthalmology for many years. Dr. Vicksman is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the AOA, Colorado Optometric Association and the Denver Metro Optometric Society.
Dr Vicksman is a skier and has a Black Belt in Universal Kempo Karate. He has an exceptionally talented teacher and wife Debbie along with a daughter Andi and son Adam.
